The seal pups at Isla Islotes deserve some spotlight. I loved reading the comments on facebook in regards to the follow the leader video. A friends comment was " Ok this is getting ridiculous". He was of coarse kidding, but Bret and I both laughed thinking " I know right?" I'm not saying they were any better than the Pilot whales, turtles, or dolphin, but who am I kidding that's like trying to choose an ice cream flavor. They are all SAWEET!! Babies are inquisitive and extra playful. Tallen and one of the pups played ring around the rosie. Later Rawly was in a game of fin tug. The pup would tug Rawlys fin then hang there and wait for Rawly to tug back. I had to get in on this, and when Rawly found the under water tunnels I was in! We took turns swimming down through the crevasses in the rocks. Each time followed by our little buddy. The whole time we were in the water I kept thinking how amazing it was that this seal pup was playing with us. Maybe it was he who was getting us to preform tricks and not the other way around.
This little guy just kept hanging around upside down eyeing the go-pro
We caught 2 pups passing a shell back and forth, then we played a game of follow the leader.
La Paz founders day festival. Hot fresh churros while you wait.
Ok so I am not a cat lady, but I have definitely become the weird puppy lady!
Tallen in the van to Cabo. We had such an amazing visit!
We just can't get enough of the Platino!
No need to wait in line at the concession stand. Seat side ordering!
I try to take life 24 hours at a time and am always amazed how quickly that time goes by. It's crazy that 7 months have gone by. We will spend the next few days in La Paz. In about 6 weeks we will be putting the boat away for the summer in Guaymas on the mainland.
Que Sera.
Ciao for now,
Marne and Bret
